Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Andy Schmidt has faithfully served in ministry for over 30 years. He is committed to preaching the Word of God clearly and boldly, standing firmly on the truth of God’s Word and pointing people to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Raised on a farm in Iowa, Pastor Schmidt learned early the values of hard work, faithfulness, and perseverance—principles that continue to shape his ministry and leadership today. His heart for the Gospel extends beyond the local church, having participated in numerous mission trips.
Pastor Schmidt is blessed to serve alongside his wife, Michelle, and they are the proud parents of their son, Andrew, a young adult. Together, the Schmidt family is deeply invested in the life and ministry of Central Baptist Church.
Pastor Andy’s passion is to faithfully shepherd God’s people, equip believers for Christian living, and see the Gospel reach both the local community and the world.
